Your voice matters! There are two elections in 2026. The Primary Election is Tuesday, March 17. The Mid-Term Election is Tuesday, November 3.

I Can’t Vote Yet. What Can I Do?
If you are too young to vote, there are still plenty of things you can do to be involved in the election process:
- Pre-register to vote: In Illinois, 16-year-olds can pre-register to vote online through the Illinois State Board of Elections.
- Serve as an Election Judge: Election Judges are paid to manage the polling locations and help voters on Election Day (November 5). Online applications open in late July. This is a great opportunity for High School juniors and seniors to engage in the democratic process (and get paid to do it!).
- Learn: Take some time to learn about candidates, policies, and what’s happening in your area. What issues are important to you?
