Books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, CDs, & video games: Three weeks (up to two automatic renewals depending on hold status)
Hotspots & Gadgets: Two weeks (no renewals)

Restricted use cards for patrons experiencing homelessness are limited to two items at a time with item type restrictions and do not include interlibrary loan privileges.
Library items eligible for renewal will be automatically renewed three days before your item is due as long as there is no hold on the item and the item has not reached our maximum renewal limit, twice.
If you have an email address in your account, you will receive an email about the items that were renewed and the new due date. If you do not have an email address in your account, you can check on the due date of items by using the “My Account” tab in the catalog or by contacting the library.
FPPL is now fine free.
- No fines will be charged for any material that is checked out at the Forest Park Public Library.
- Library cards will be blocked when 11+ items are overdue for one day.
- Library cards billed for an item after it is overdue for 42 days.
- Patrons will receive their first overdue notice at 7 days overdue.
