If you are fully vaccinated, masks are optional. If you are unvaccinated, you must wear a mask at all times in the Library. Staff will continue to wear masks when working in public spaces and interacting with patrons. 

Library Hours

Monday-Thursday: 9 am – 9 pm

Friday: 9 am – 6 pm

Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm

Sunday: 1 – 5 pm

As the State of Illinois entered Phase 5 of Reopening, we are also making some additional changes to our safety guidelines:
  • Masks are optional for vaccinated patrons. Masks are required for unvaccinated patrons. Staff will continue to wear masks in public areas.
  • The public is welcome to use the Library with no time limit.
  • Computers sessions are available for one hour sessions with time increases when possible.
  • Please respect others and maintain social distance as appropriate.
  • Limited in-person programs are available. See more info at fppl.org/events.
  • Faxing, copying, printing, and scanning are available.
  • Study rooms are available for reservation.
