Pre-K and Younger

Even babies can be wild about books! Read aloud or bond together through early literacy games and activities to move ahead on the game. When you land on an animal space come in for a small prize and earn an entry into the grand prize drawing of your choice. July 31 is your last chance to check in for prizes!

This year’s grand prize drawings:

Kindergarten through 7th Grade

Playing is as easy as B-I-N-G-O. Choose your adventure to mark off a square on your card: either do the challenge on the square or read for 20 minutes that day. Come to claim a prize and earn an entry into the drawing of your choice for every 4 Xs on the board (they do not have to be in the same row or column).

Turn in your card by the end of the day July 31 to be entered into the grand prize drawings.

Growing Our Future Readers: 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

It’s never too early to expose your child to books! Regular reading to and with your child is a great way to give them a strong foundation for learning how to read, and the love of books can be the first step in developing lifelong learners. That’s why we are calling our current 1000 Books program “Growing Future Readers.”

Log every time you read a book together and collect prizes along the way. And yes, reading the same book over and over counts! Be sure to stop into the library periodically to pick up books, get some stickers, and collect your prizes.
