The Park District of Forest Park and the Forest Park Public Library are partnering to offer the opportunity to check out a one-week pool pass during the summer. This is only available for Forest Park Public Library cardholders in good standing. An Amilia account with a photo must be created to access the pool.
The pool is open Saturday, May 23 through Monday, September 7 weather permitting.
Things to Know
- Passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Library for FPPL cardholders in good standing ages 18+. Passes cannot be checked out on kid or teen cards.
- Passes will be available on Tuesdays at 9 am from May 19 until September 1.
- Holds are not available to be placed on the passes.
- Six passes will be available each week. Two of the passes are reserved for seniors (ages 60+).
- FPPL adult cardholders can check out up to two passes a week.
- Passes must be returned to the Library by the following Monday; they will be automatically cut off the Tuesday after check out.
- Each pass admits one person, but kids ages 2 & under do not need a pass.
- Patrons must create an Amilia account with a photo and sign a waiver before using the pass.
- Passes can be used at any time during the pool’s open hours and during special events.
- Passes cannot be checked out on consecutive weeks.
- In the event of bad weather that causes the closure of the pool, we cannot extend the pool pass check out period.
To access the pool
- Once a pass is checked out, an Amilia account must be created and a waiver signed before entering the pool. (If you’ve already created an Amilia account before for Park District classes or facilities, you can use that account and do not need to create a new one.)
- Make sure to review pool rules and hours here.
