According to the US Dept of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Day is “A celebration to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.”

The Village of Forest Park will mark Veterans Day with a ceremony on Saturday, November 11 at 11 am at Popelka Park (501 Thomas Ave.) in Forest Park.
The Library will be open on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11.
