This September, Forest Park Public Library (FPPL) is joining with the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide for Library Card Sign-up Month, to encourage community members to obtain a free library card that will save them money while reaping rewards in academic achievement and lifelong learning.
New Library card holders will receive a Brown Cow scoop card (while supplies last) and a entry into a drawing to win a $100 Visa giftcard.
Current FPPL cardholders can “Show Your Card” to receive your choice of a tote bag or a Brown Cow scoop card (while supplies last).

Get a Library Card
It’s easier than ever for any Forest Park Public Library resident to get a library card. Here is what you will need to sign up.

- Sign up in person: 7555 Jackson Blvd
Everyone who signs up for a Library card in September 2023 will be entered into a drawing for a $100 giftcard.
Renew Your Card
Already have a card but it expired? Now’s the time to renew! Bring in your card along with a photo ID and proof of your Forest Park address. This could be your ID or another form of proof. Renewed Library card holders will also be entered into the drawing for a $100 giftcard.
Show Your Library Card
If you already have a card, stop by to show your card! Everyone who shows their card (or proves they have an active Library card) will receive a prize (tote bag or Brown Cow scoop card). Only available to Forest Park Public Library cardholders. One prize per person.
Share Your Library Love
This month (or any month) is a great time to share your Library love with friends, family or neighbors. Share online or in-person!
