The Library presents a special Black History Month StoryWalk during the month of February on Madison Street. The featured title is The Year We Learned to Fly by Jacqueline Woodson.

The StoryWalk starts at Madison Park Kitchen, goes up Madison, towards Harlem, and wraps around the other side. The last stop is MacDaddy Salon.

All the illustrations are displayed on the exterior windows of the businesses except for Brown Cow, where their spread is displayed on their interior wall.

The illustrations are numbered and posted in chronological order, but the locations themselves are spaced out.

You can find a map of the StoryWalk here, at participating businesses, or stop by the Library to pick one up.
