For Library Card Sign Up month, the libraries in the Proviso Township are putting on a challenge for patrons to visit all the libraries in our township and are entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card!
The goal of this promotion is to encourage patrons of the libraries in our township to learn more about their neighboring communities and support their local libraries. Many people are unaware that we have so many libraries in our surrounding community. These libraries are: Berkeley, Bellwood, Broadview, Hillside, LaGrange Park, Maywood, Melrose Park and Northlake and Forest Park.
Our Forest Park patrons and patrons of these Proviso Township libraries listed above can pick up a treasure map at any participating library and visit each library and get a stamp indicating they’ve visited. Once the patron has received stamps from all of the libraries, they can bring it to their home library to be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card.
Additionally, from August 15th to September 30, any FPPL patron who registers for a library card or gets their card renewed will also receive a coupon for a scoop of ice cream at Brown Cow. The offer is one per library card renewed/registered.
Patrons will be able to get a treasure map at any Proviso library they visit, they will only be able to return the treasure map to their home library.
Staff at the Info Desk will have the stamp/sticker on hand to mark treasure maps.
FPPL and Proviso township patrons can pick up a map at any of the following libraries:
