The Library will close at 5 pm on Friday, June 9.

March is Women’s History Month. Help us celebrate the women writers we admire who have touched our lives, changed our perspectives, and entertained us with their stories!

For the entire month of March, the Forest Park Public Library is collecting your recommendations for titles by women authors. Any genre, any historical period. Whether it is the book you are reading now or an author you love… take a moment to honor that writer and share your appreciation of her work!

Follow us and you’ll get some very special recommendations for books you will love to discover!  At the end of March, there’ll be a drawing for a prize sourced from a local women-owned business.

You can submit recommendations online here or in person at the Library.

If you are looking for new recommendations, please check out our 2021 Women’s History Month book list.
