Dear Forest Park Residents,
FOREST PARK PUBLIC LIBRARY CLOSURE EXTENDED
In an effort to ensure full compliance with Governor Pritzker’s Shelter in Place Order, and to do our part to minimize exposure to COVID -19, the Forest Park Public Library extends the closure of the building until further notice. All previously scheduled programs and activities have been cancelled or rescheduled. As this is a fluid situation, we will be reevaluating as new information becomes available, we will keep our patrons and community members informed as access to our services evolves.
No library fines will be issued during this time, and due dates will be extended until June 3. We strongly encourage patrons not to attempt to return materials to the building.
If you have holds available and awaiting pick-up, they will be available for you for seven days following the reopening of the building.
Our online resources will remain available while we are closed with downloadable and streaming options for ebooks, audiobooks, movies, magazines, and music. Our staff continues to work remotely to provide online library access and programming, please follow us on social media and visit our website for more information.
