We all know there is a lot of fake news out there.

We all know there is a lot of fake news out there. And (admit it), we have all been sucked into a fake news story. That's why it's important to remind youself on how to spot fake news. This info graphic is from the IFLA - International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions

Here are some ways to get to the bottom of the news you read:

✅. Consider the source.
✅ Read beyond the headline.
✅ Check the author.
✅ Are there supporting sources?
✅ Check the date. Is it old?
✅ Is it a joke? (April Fool's Day is coming!)
✅ Check your biases. (We all have them!)
✅ Ask the experts!
