Meeting Rooms
The library has two meeting rooms available for non-profit community groups.
The Josephine Austin Meeting Room is a large meeting room that has a capacity of 75 persons in chairs arrangedin auditorium style. With tables, the room has a capacity of 45. The room has a projector screen, projector compatible with most laptop computers, a rear projection system, and an audio system. The Library’s refrigerator and sink are available upon request at the time of application for use of this room.
The Orrin Thorson Conference Room is a smaller room with a conference table and has a capacity of 10 to 12 persons. There is a dormitory sized refrigerator available, as well as a dry-erase board.
Contact the library at (708) 366-7171 or askus@fppl.org to check availability. First-time users must also fill out the Meeting Room Application Form and return it to the library along with the reservation fee.
Study Rooms
Both the Adult and Youth Services floors have quiet study rooms available for free. The adult study rooms may be booked up to a week in advance, for a 2-hour session. Contact the library to check availability.
